CHASE, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in northern Wisconsin provided an update on a truck that was believed to be submerged early Tuesday morning.
Oconto County Sheriff Todd Skarban posted on Facebook about the Tuesday morning traffic incident. Around 5 a.m. a call came in saying a vehicle went into the Little Suamico River due to a failed bridge.

The driver was able to get out of the vehicle on their own and was treated for minor injuries. Deputies were not able to find the vehicle due to the flooding.
A few hours later around 8:30 a.m. the vehicle was not found and thought to be underwater.
Eight hours later, at 3:30 p.m., the roof of the truck involved in the incident was seen. Authorities say the truck will be removed as the water recedes.



Sheriff Skarban said this incident is a reminder on how the weather can be very unpredictable.
