Event organizers say the documentary shares the history of the trail and highlights the trails impact on the local community.
It was like a dream come true. It was difficult getting it accomplished, lots of people, with lots of dedication. I remember that feeling for half a year afterwards, driving by and seeing people using the trail, that just warms my heart, and it still does today.

Those who ventured out to catch the documentary also got to ask questions to learn more from some of the key players who turned the idea of the Fox River Trail into a reality.
