The latest from Storm Team 5…
As we head into the weekend we are off to a sunny start with moderate temperatures in the upper 40s to mid 50s. We will see temperatures return to near freezing for overnight lows. Saturday will start off sunny but we can see clouds build throughout the day and the beginning of rain showers in the evening hours.
Sunday will welcome rain with a chance of thunderstorms and daytime highs in the upper 60s. Monday will be the warmest day of the week with highs in the lower 70s. This pattern will continue throughout the entire work week. The greatest potential at this time for severe weather is Monday and Tuesday. The SPC has issued Severe risk outlooks for the 4-8 day period. Monday and Tuesday are affected within that outlook with Tuesdays system having a larger affect on the WFRV viewing area.
Throughout the weekend Storm Team 5 will continue to monitor the upcoming storms systems to ensure the most up to date information of what we are expecting.
