(WFRV) – A Wisconsin man was found with an estimated $3.6 million worth of methamphetamine in Illinois after being pulled over.
According to the Illinois State Police, a 25-year-old man from Madison was arrested on April 6 following a traffic stop. Authorities say just before 1 p.m., a trooper pulled over a vehicle eastbound on I-74 just outside of Bloomington.

A search of the vehicle revealed multiple packages of suspected methamphetamine, authorities said. It was mentioned that the suspected methamphetamine weighed approximately 99.7 pounds.
That is a street value of almost $3.6 million, the release said.
The driver, and only person in the vehicle, was identified as the man from Madison, Wisconsin. He was taken into custody.
The release says he was charged with methamphetamine trafficking and being held at McLean County Jail.
