CUDAHY, Wis. (WFRV) – A manufacturing company based out of Milwaukee announced that one of its other plants in Wisconsin will permanently close soon.
According to a letter from Regal Rexnord Corporation to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD), the company’s facility in Cudahy will permanently close at the end of June.

The letter to the DWD added that the company expects all 70 facility employees will be laid off, with the first 30 occurring on or around June 5.
“We expect the closing to be permanent in nature,” the letter said. “This closing will involve cessation of all manufacturing operations and termination of all employees at the site.”
The final 40 layoffs are expected to occur on June 30, the date of the facility’s closure.
