(WFRV) – Officials with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation say some drivers may need to find an alternate route as some southbound ramps on I-41 will be temporarily closed.
According to a release from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northeast Region, the southbound I-41 on and off ramps at County Highway U will soon be closed for seven days starting on March 25.

The closure comes as part of the overall major I-41 project that is expected to reconstruct and expand 23 miles of I-41 from four lanes to six lanes between WIS 96 in Appleton to Scheuring Road in De Pere.
WisDOT officials add that all operations are weather-dependent and subject to change. For additional information about the I-41 project, click here.
