Police arriving at the scene were able to find the child, who was later taken to a local medical facility by ambulance for an evaluation of their condition. While investigating, it was found that the child’s home showed signs of concerning living conditions, and it was discovered that additional children were also living inside the home.
Officials say they obtained and carried out a search warrant at the home, during which they found two adults, 34-year-old Lacy Lehmukuhl and 42-year-old Harrison Bond, hiding underneath a blanket behind a furnace in the basement.
Lehmkul was found to have outstanding warrants with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office, while Bond had an outstanding warrant through the Rock County Sheriff’s Office. Both were arrested and taken to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.
