APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – For the past three years, the Fox Valley’s Go Baby Go! Chapter has been providing modified ride-on electric cars for children with limited mobility.

On Friday afternoon, the chapter marked a major milestone, delivering its 99th and 100th cars to those children, this time, to a pair of siblings, who can now experience independent movement.
The program works with Fox Valley Technical College and Children’s Wisconsin therapists who design and craft battery-powered vehicles that meet each kid’s unique needs.
Children’s Wisconsin Therapy Manager Amy Van Donsel called the milestone cars a reflection of the collaborative work but also credited donors who made it possible.

“Thanks to our donors who make it possible to give these cars free of charge to families, children have the opportunity to explore their world more independently while bringing so much joy to families,” Van Donsel said via the release.
