WAUSAU, Wis. (WFRV) – With the historic blizzard in Wisconsin now over, many residents throughout Wisconsin are faced with the tough task of shoveling out their cars.
Wisconsin Public Service crews battle blizzard, restore power to over 11,000 customers
The clean-up can be one of the hardest parts of a blizzard, and as outdoor parking lots begin to be cleared, people who live in one Wausau apartment complex say they are finally seeing their cars again for the first time in days.
Trying to get out. Been stuck in for two days. Can’t get my car out. So…love Wisconsin. My car’s buried. This is crazy. Wish I was in Florida.
Teresa Huebner, Wausau resident
Huebner told Local Five that she had been off from work the last couple of days but was bound and determined to dig her car out on Monday afternoon.
The lot at Huebner’s apartment complex is also finally being plowed, but it will not be completely cleared until the buildup around and on top of all the cars is taken care of.
