GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Two weeks following the passing of legendary Green Bay Packers CEO and President Bob Harlan, the team announced that it will add his name to the northeast Lambeau Field façade.

According to a release, the tribute is in honor of his legacy and historic contributions to the Packers, who under Harlan, won Super Bowl XXXI and went 152-88 in his 24 years at the helm.
The Lambeau Field façade. includes former Packers who are in the Hall of Fame, from players to coaches to contributors, along with retired numbers. The decision was announced by the current team President and CEO, Ed Policy.
“Bob was integral in remaking Lambeau into an iconic and revered stadium, and it is fitting that his name will be forever recognized as one of the most important leaders in Packers history,” Policy said via the release.
The Harlan family released a statement, thanking Policy and the Packers organization as well.
“Our dad had incredible respect for the incomparable history of the Green Bay Packers. The honor of having his name among the legends of this franchise, names that symbolize the greatest in pro football history, is the most treasured of his career.
Our hearts are filled with enormous gratitude. We extend our sincere appreciation to Ed Policy and the entire Packers organization for this honor beyond measure.”

But perhaps his most important contribution and achievement was the nearly $300 million redevelopment of Lambeau Field, which has become not just the focal point of the city, but a key driver in making it one of, if not the most well-liked, stadiums in the NFL.
The installation will be done during a ceremony at a home game in the 2026 NFL season; however, the date has not been announced.
