FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – A 48-year-old woman was taken into custody in Fond du Lac on Saturday for allegedly stabbing a man she used to live with.
According to a release from the Fond du Lac Police Department, first responders were called to the 100 block of West 1st Street around 2:45 p.m. for reports of a woman attacking someone with a knife.
Officers arrived to find a 50-year-old man from Fond du Lac who was stabbed in his arm. He was treated at the scene and taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

A 48-year-old woman was identified as the suspect and was found inside the apartment building before being taken into custody and taken to the Fond du Lac County Jail on a Probation and Parole Hold and charges listed below.
Officers stated that based on their investigation, the two knew each other and had previously lived together.
Charges include:
- Disorderly Conduct While Armed with a Dangerous Weapon – Domestic
- Substantial Battery – Domestic
- 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety – Domestic
