From Storm Team 5…
It’s only early March, but we have spring-like weather rolling into Wisconsin to start the weekend. A warm front stretching back to an area of low pressure will push in showers and thunderstorms into very early Saturday morning.
The widespread severe threat is low, but a few storms could bring downpours, strong winds, and small hail.
Keep an eye on your sump pumps and localized flooding, as we still have frost in the ground.
Saturday will hold onto some early-day, lighter showers, but we see things dry up as we head towards noon. Daytime highs reach the lower 50s.
Sunday will have some nicer conditions, which may be needed if you lost an hour of sleep due to daylight saving time. It will be breezy but warmer with highs reaching the lower 60s, and skies will have some sunshine. Monday will be mostly sunny again with highs reaching nearly 70 degrees.
Tuesday will take a quick turn with daytime highs only reaching the upper 40s and the return of rain and a chance for a wintry mix. Wednesday continues to cool as daytime highs only reach the upper 30s. A cloudy day is expected with a chance for some flurries.
