IOWA COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – A Wisconsin sheriff’s office has closed public restrooms at a county park after officials say the facility was vandalized.
According to the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office, the restrooms at the Iowa County Pond, located at 3037 County Farm Road, have been locked.

Authorities said the newly installed restroom, intended for public use, was severely damaged and left in what they described as an unacceptable condition.

“It is disappointing that a small group of individuals would choose to damage a facility meant for everyone in the community to use,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
