GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – On Thursday, NWTC hosted an event to help increase awareness for mental health in skilled trades, as the industry has one of the highest suicide rates of any occupation.
The event, titled “Men’s Mental Health: Tools in Tough Times,” had NWTC partner with industry leaders to help bring attention to bettering mental health within the industry.

Bruce Morton, the event’s featured speaker, is a leading safety expert, mental health advocate, and founder of the Wisconsin Construction Wellness Community. Morton spoke to help break the stigma and foster supportive workplace cultures.
