The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
There will be a big swing with our weather in the next 24 to 48 hours! First, we get spring-like weather as it turns warm and breezy on this Friday. Temperatures will get into the upper 40s and lower 50s this afternoon, well short of the record high of 70 degrees from two years ago in 2024 – the warmest it has gotten in February since records started in the late 1800s.
A cold front will drop temperatures Friday night as a blast of cold air returns for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday will feature highs in the 20s.
Snow will also accompany the colder weather on Saturday from the late morning into the early evening. An inch or two of snow is possible from Appleton and communities further south by Highway 10. Less than an inch for areas just north of Appleton. In the northwoods, you may notice some flurries for a short time, but accumulation in not anticipated for you this time around.
