MENOMINEE COUNTY, Mich. (WFRV) – A substitute teacher in the Upper Peninsula faces multiple charges of criminal sexual misconduct for alleged incidents involving students.
According to the Menominee County Sheriff’s Office, a report came in at the Bark River-Harris School from December 2025 involving a substitute teacher and minor students for sexual misconduct.

The teacher, identified as 58-year-old Timothy Brandt of Gladstone, was arrested on February 24 and arraigned in court on Thursday.
Brandt is charged with two counts of criminal sexual misconduct in the second degree, with a cash bond of $5,000.
