GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Puzzle lovers in Green Bay got to put their speed to the test on Sunday in a new competition.
Students display talents at Green Bay Home Show for charity
Badger State Brewing in Green Bay hosted its first-ever ‘Puzzles and Pours’ event, a speed puzzle competition where teams raced the clock in order to complete a 500-piece puzzle in under two hours.
We’re calling it ‘Puzzles and Pours.’ We’re hopefully going to run one once a month, where teams of four come in and they get a mystery puzzle to put together in a set time limit and the top three teams will walk away with prizes. I’ve been noticing I like to puzzle, and I have gone to a few at the library and thought it would be really fun to incorporate, and they’re really popular around the state, so we’re here to try our hand at it.

It cost $40 for teams to participate in the new event, with each team receiving drinking tickets and a competition puzzle that they could take home at the end of the event, or even choose to donate it.
The top three teams at the event took home prizes.
