BELOIT, Wis. (WFRV) – A 26-year-old southern Wisconsin man was sentenced to over three decades in prison months after he was convicted by a jury for 1st-degree child sexual assault of children under 13.
Court records show that Isaiah Washington of Beloit was in court while in custody on February 20, as he was sentenced for sexually assaulting a child.

The charge stems from April 2024, when a 13-year-old girl came forward to report that Washington sexually assaulted her in the backseat of a car and an apartment bathroom in Janesville, prompting an investigation leading to his arrest.
Another child victim came forward in late 2024 while Washington was in jail, reporting that he sexually assaulted her at a house in Beloit when she was 11. During the trial in December 2025, both victims had testified against Washington, who claimed to have been set up.
Washington will spend 32 years of initial confinement followed by 10 years on extended supervision.
