Officials confirmed the fire at the scene; however, the heavy winds and a lack of nearby fire hydrants worsened conditions, as firefighters requested a Mutual Aid Box Alarm System box.
While no injuries were reported, the home is considered a total loss from the fire, which is still under investigation for cause.
