GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Area Public School District and city officials gathered with multiple local organizations to host its first annual Trades Day on Wednesday.
The new event was designed in an effort to showcase construction careers while highlighting the industry’s role in the Wisconsin economy.

Numerous construction companies were in attendance with local officials, as Green Bay-area high schoolers learned about the construction industry while getting a chance to speak with company representatives.
The event also invited community members who may be interested in potential construction jobs, as the event kicked off at the Southwest High School gymnasium.
