FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – The Fond du Lac Police Department says it is continuing to investigate a recent residential entry reported in the Primrose Lane area, with additional incidents now identified.
Since the department’s initial response, officers conducted an extensive door-to-door canvas in surrounding neighborhoods. Authorities said hundreds of community notices were personally delivered as officers spoke directly with residents, answered questions and gathered information.

During that effort, investigators uncovered two additional home entries and several attempted entries that had not previously been reported.
“We want to sincerely thank the residents who called us and shared information,” the Fond du Lac Police Department said in a statement. “Your willingness to speak up matters. We are equally grateful for the neighbors who looked out for one another and took the time to check in. That sense of community is one of our greatest strengths.”
Investigators are asking residents to review home security, doorbell and other surveillance cameras. Anyone who captured video of individuals walking through yards overnight, checking door handles, approaching garages or engaging in other suspicious behavior is asked to contact police.
