GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Registration is now open for the 2026 Pet Walk hosted by the Wisconsin Humane Society, with events planned across the state, including two in northeast Wisconsin.
The first northeast Wisconsin walk is scheduled for Sunday, June 7, in Green Bay. A second walk will take place Saturday, Aug. 8, in Door County. The Green Bay event is the first of five Pet Walks being held statewide.
Brown County agencies to conduct speed enforcement task force Tuesday
Participants who register will receive an exclusive 2026 Pet Walk T-shirt and entry to the walk and festival. The event features live music, games, a family fun zone, vendors, raffles, food and drinks, and a pet costume contest.
Organizers encourage attendees to bring their dogs or cats, but note that pets are not required to participate.

The Wisconsin Humane Society said every dollar raised stays local and supports the more than 65,000 animals and families it serves each year through medical care, shelter and other services.
