BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – Law enforcement agencies across Brown County are preparing for another multi-agency traffic enforcement effort focused on speeding violations.
Authorities announced a speed enforcement task force will take place Tuesday as part of a grant-funded initiative aimed at reducing dangerous driving behaviors and promoting safe driving practices.

The announcement follows a recent seat belt enforcement deployment involving several local agencies. During that effort, officers reported numerous traffic stops for speeding, seat belt violations and other citations, as well as several warrant arrests.

Agencies participating in Tuesday’s deployment include the Ashwaubenon Public Safety Department, Brown County Sheriff’s Office, De Pere Police Department, Green Bay Police Department, Hobart-Lawrence Police Department, Oneida Police Department, Pulaski Police Department, UW-Green Bay Police Department and Wrightstown Police Department.
Officials said the goal of the task force is to improve roadway safety throughout the county.
