SHAWANO, Wis. (WFRV) – A Shawano animal shelter is offering a humorous way to support animals in need this Valentine’s season.
The Shawano County Humane Society is hosting its “Love Stinks” fundraiser. For a $5 donation, supporters can have an ex’s name written on a paper heart and placed in a cat’s litter box.

“Some people have sent over 10 names,” said Executive Director Pam Nowak. “They fill an entire litter box, so it’s really neat. There are a lot of options.”
