The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Temperatures topped out in the low and mid 30s this afternoon for most this afternoon. With clear skies and calm wind, any areas that saw some melting may experience a few patches of fog tomorrow morning, especially south of Green Bay and into central WI. Lows will fall into the upper teens and low 20s.
Besides the mention of some morning fog, our Friday looks mostly sunny, a little breezy, but we start our run of temperatures in the 40s, reaching the low and mid 40s in the afternoon.
This warm up will amplify our snow melt, leading to widespread fog Saturday morning that could make things slippery. Keep this mind for the start of Sturgeon spearing if ypu plan to head out there on Saturday morning.
Once the fog burns off, the afternoon looks mostly sunny with highs in the mid 40s. There is some uncertainty as to if we see more fog on Sunday morning…stay tuned for updates.
Sunday though looks mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 40s. There is high confidence now that locations south of HWY 29 will hit the 50s on Monday. We do have to talk about two seperate systems brining a rain and snow mix both Tuesday nigth into Wednesday and then later on Thursday into Friday.
