GREENLEAF, Wis. (WFRV) – The Greenleaf community had a chance to come together Wednesday night and voice concerns about a potential data center being brought to the area.
The Village of Greenleaf was reported to be a potential spot for a data center, but due to pushback from the community, the project never came to fruition.
One thing on the table at Wednesday night’s meeting was said to be the potential for an ordinance to keep data centers out of the area.
It’s a very small community, everybody is getting together, expressing their views – and I don’t think anybody wants this. We are looking for development, but this is not the right fit for us.
Julie Carter, Greenleaf resident
In the end, no ordinance was said to be made.
