PESHTIGO, Wis. (WFRV) – Several people avoided serious injury Thursday morning after a two-vehicle crash in Peshtigo that initially reported occupants trapped inside a vehicle.
Shortly after 11:15 a.m., the Peshtigo Fire Department was dispatched to the intersection of County Highway B and Schacht Road for a crash involving two vehicles and possible entrapment.

Upon arrival, firefighters located one vehicle with occupants trapped. Crews stabilized the vehicle, removed the windshield and assisted the individuals from inside.

All parties were evaluated by emergency medical services at the scene. Authorities reported only minor injuries.

Firefighters remained on scene to clean up fluids and debris and direct traffic until both vehicles were removed.
The crash remains under investigation.
