MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – Police in Wisconsin say one person is now in the hospital after appearing to be shot during an incident Saturday evening.
According to a release from the Madison Police Department, officers responded around 6:35 p.m. to the 600 block of Vera Court for a report of shots fired.

Officials say a victim who had been shot was found at the scene, with officers immediately providing aid to the victim before they were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
