SEVASTOPOL, Wis. (WFRV) — Authorities in Door County have identified the 23-year-old man who died in a crash Friday night in the town of Sevastopol.
The Door County Sheriff’s Office said the victim was Stephen Stamm, 23, of Egg Harbor. An autopsy was conducted by the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office, and results are pending.
Person of interest in custody as search continues for missing Marinette woman
Deputies and emergency crews were called to State Highway 57 at around 8:35 p.m. Friday. A preliminary investigation determined that Stamm’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
The crash remains under investigation.
