GREENFIELD, Wis. (WFRV) – A man was taken into custody after he allegedly shot a handgun over 12 times towards a semi-truck driver while at a southeastern Wisconsin gas station.
Officers with the Greenfield Police Department say they responded to shots fired reports around 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, at a Speedway gas station on the 4000 block of South 60th Street.

After an investigation, officers learned that a driver got out of his vehicle, allegedly took out a handgun, and reportedly fired more than a dozen rounds at the driver of a semi-truck that was stopped in the parking lot.
It was noted in the release that investigators are not aware of any previous altercation that may have led up to the shooting.
No one was hit by gunfire, and officers arrested the 46-year-old suspect at the scene. The Milwaukee man reportedly ‘surrendered peacefully,” and a handgun was recovered from his vehicle.

The case will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office for review and potential criminal charges.
