MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – A Wisconsin man is now in custody for possession of child pornography and the online sexual exploitation of a minor in Texas, authorities say.
According to a release from the Madison Police Department, officers received a case referral from law enforcement in Texas relating to a 58-year-old Madison man communicating online with an underage girl.

Based on information from the law enforcement agency in Texas, members of the Madison Police Department’s Special Victims Unit, Special Weapons and Tactics Unit, and Gang and Neighborhood Crime Abatement Team, and members of the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigations served a search warrant around 7:00 a.m. Wednesday morning at a home on the 100 block of Spaight Street.
As a result of the search warrant, 58-year-old David Fawcett was arrested and booked into the Dane County Jail on charges of Possession of Child Pornography and Sexual Exploitation.
