FITCHBURG, Wis. (WFRV) – Three people were hospitalized, two of whom were seriously injured, after a vehicle crashed into a building in southcentral Wisconsin on Thursday morning.
A release provided by the Fitchburg Police Department states that officers were called to the 1600 block of the West Beltline Highway around 11:45 a.m. on February 5 after a vehicle had crashed into a building.
Three people who were inside the building at the time of the crash were all injured and later taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Officers say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is reportedly cooperating with the investigation. It was also noted that there is no indication that this was “an intentional act.”
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Team is assisting with the investigation.
