SAWYER COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – A Wisconsin deputy spent his patrol shift with local youth, choosing to have some fun and enjoy the great outdoors.
Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Simpson decided to spend his shift supervising the sledding hill to ensure safety and also join in the fun.

But, he decided the best way to supervise the kids at the hill was to show off his sledding skills, just in time for the Winter Olympics.
Deputy Simpson joined the kids, sledding down the hill with a big smile on his face in a wholesome and fun story for all, and his department joked about the whole activity.
“Cold noses, big laughs and one adult who refuses to act his age,” the post said.
