The Latest from Storm Team 5…
No weather concerns are expected this evening besides an increase in clouds. Our next round of snow arrives later tonight, beginning up north around 2-3am and then shortly after for Green Bay and the Fox Valley.
Expect widespread snow showers for the Thursday morning commute, lasting through about the noon hour. A fluffy 1-2″ of snow is possible with this round, so a few slippery spots are possible. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time on the roadways. Once the snow exits, the rest of our day looks cloudy and mild with highs in the low to mid 30s.
Our second round of snow will move in early Friday morning, potentially could mix with some freezing rain as it exits, but it wont last as long as the first round so while it likely will not be snowing for the Friday morning commute, roads could be slippert still. A packy inch or less is possible, leading to a system total of 1-3″ of snow, maybe a few isolated higher totals.

Highs will it the low to mid 30s Friday morning, and as a north wind gusting to 30-35 mph kicks in on the back side of this system, tempertaures will be falling throough the day.
The weekend will start off cold, with Saturday morning temperatures in the single digits and wind chills between between -10 and -20. Plan on an increase in clouds with highs reaching the upper teens. There is a chance for some light snow at night on Saturday.
As a warm front passes by Monday morning, there is a chance for some light rain or snow north on Monday, but the passage of this front will begin a thaw & freeze pattern.
