The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Tonight looks clear to partly cloudy with lows falling into the single digits above zero for most, possibly dropping below zero in our known cooler locations.
Tomorrow will be another quiet and seasonally cool day under a mix of sunshine and clouds with highs in the middle 20s.
Our next chance for widespread light snow showers moves in Thursday morning, likely impacting the Thursday morning commute. Snow shwers will wrap up around the late morning, leading to a cloudy rest of our day. Highs will actually reach the low 30s in the afternoon.
A second round snow arrives very early Friday morning. All told, between the two rounds of snow, we are looking at 1-2″ for most, a few isolated higher totals up north, with less then 1″ in our far southwestern corner of the viewing area.

Highs will reach the mid 30s Friday mid day, then fall throughout the day as a strong north wind kicks in. Lows will fall to the single digits above and below zero for Saturday morning, with wind chills between -5 and -15.
Plan on cooler then normal temperatures on Saturday but things get back to near normal on Sunday. A thaw and freeze pattern will begin next week.
