WAUWATOSA, Wis. (WFRV) – Four Wisconsin police officers are in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a pursuit stemming from a suspect who allegedly stole a marked squad car.

According to the Wauwatosa Police Department, a patrol officer in the Mayfair Mall parking lot noticed a 26-year-old man being kicked out of the mall, but trying to go back inside. The officer advised him to leave, and the man returned to a parked white minivan.
A license plate check revealed that the vehicle was involved in a domestic violence incident and a pursuit with another department earlier on Tuesday, and the man immediately locked himself inside and fled.
According to a release, the driver fled an attempted stop, prompting a pursuit, as multiple squad cars contained his vehicle; however, he refused compliance.
The suspect ended up getting out of the minivan, but running toward and into an unoccupied police squad car, and reversed and struck multiple officers as well as an unoccupied squad car.

A second pursuit ended after the suspect crashed into another squad car as he drove through multiple yards, and he was arrested following a brief foot pursuit.
The suspect has multiple felony warrants, and charges are pending. The incident hospitalized four Wauwatosa Police Officers with non-life-threatening injuries, and they are in stable condition.
