OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – A fire that caused an estimated $100,00 in damage to an Oshkosh building is under investigation.
According to the Oshkosh Fire Department, crews responded to the 700 block of West New York Avenue around 11:35 a.m. on January 29 for reports of a structure fire.
Crews arrived to find dark smoke coming from a second-story window. The fire was reportedly found in an interior wall on the first and second floors.
The fire was put out, but caused fire, water, and smoke damage throughout, which is estimated at $100,000.
No injuries were reported, and the cause is still under investigation.
