The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Tonight will be clear and cold, but at least the wind will ease back to between 5-10mph. Lows tonight will fall into the single digits below zero, but even that light wind will make it feel like the teens below zero.
Plan on a chilly but sunny Thursday morning which will be followed by the return of clouds in the afternoon. Highs will get a slight boost, topping out in the low to mid teens.
A light lake effect snow band may brush up against Door county and the lakeshore overnight Thursday into Friday morning, but overall impacts and accumulations look minimal. Besides the mention of a few morning flakes lakeside Friday, plan on mostly cloudy skies with highs remaining in the low to mid teens.
A well awiated pattern shift arrives this weekend with highs in the low to mid 20s. Snow chances stay fairly minimal, however a weak disturbance may bring around an inch of snow to the area late Sunday night into early Monday morning.
