The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
Cold sunshine in the forecast again Wednesday morning, and we are still stuck in a pattern of arctic temperatures that remain below what we expect for the end of January. For reference, the average high is 25 degrees, and will go up to 26 when February begins.
Sunshine and some fair-weather clouds are anticipated Wednesday with those cold temperatures. The high will range from the upper single digits to the low double digits. Winds are not as blustery as yesterday, but we continue to see a WNW wind around 5 to 15 miles per hour that will drag the wind chill below zero all day long. A few flurries could fall across the far north.
Mostly clear and cold again tonight. The low is -4 degrees. This could be the last night with below zero temperatures for a while!
Partly sunny Thursday with a high of 11 degrees. It’s possible some of the afternoon/evening clouds could bring scattered flurries, but not to all locations. Little or no accumulation with that.
Friday will stay cold with a high of 13 degrees. As winds shift from off the lake, some flurries or snow showers may be noted near Lake Michigan.
Breezy and warmer Saturday with a high of 21 degrees.
Sunday looks like a nice start to February with a high of 24 degrees and some sunshine in between clouds.
