FREEMAN, Wis. (WFRV) — A 66-year-old Minnesota man was arrested for his eighth operating while intoxicated offense after authorities say he was found driving in the wrong lane on a Wisconsin state highway.
Shortly before midnight Saturday, a deputy with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling left of center on State Highway 35 near State Highway 82.

The driver was identified as Clyde Greybull of Waite Park, Minnesota. Deputies said Greybull showed signs of impairment and refused to perform standardized field sobriety tests.
A K9 unit was deployed and alerted to the presence of controlled substances inside the vehicle. A subsequent search reportedly uncovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Greybull was taken into custody and transported to the Crawford County Jail.
Although formal charges had not been filed at the time of publication, the following charges were referred to the Crawford County District Attorney’s Office:
- Operating while intoxicated — eighth offense
- Possession of methamphetamine
- Possession of drug paraphernalia

Greybull was also cited for operating left of center, operating without a valid driver’s license, failure to wear a seatbelt, no automobile insurance, and non-registration of a motor vehicle.
The incident remains under investigation.
