GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Police are asking witnesses of an alleged hit-and-run on Green Bay’s west side to come forward.
According to the Green Bay Police Department, on November 23, around 4 p.m., officers were sent to the 100 block of South Fisk Street for a report of a vehicle that crashed into several garages.

When they got to the scene found a man on a garage floor with significant injuries. It is believd that the injuries are tied to being hit by a moving vehicle.
Officers also reportedly found a handgun at the scene, which was later determined to have been reported as stolen.
Witnesses say they heard gunshots shortly before the crash. Police say an initial investigation showed an altercation happened happened involving the driver, the victim and another unidentified person.
Authorities say they’d like to interview that unidentified person.
The driver of the vehicle was found just before 6 p.m. at a residence in Oneida.
