The Pretty Reckless, led by singer Taylor Momsen, has achieved a historic milestone on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with their new single, “For I Am Death,” reaching No. 1. This marks the band’s eighth chart-topper of their career, and their second streak of four consecutive No. 1 hits, with the current run dating back to 2020, while their original four straight chart-toppers stretched from 2013-2016. This feat gives The Pretty Reckless the most No. 1s for a woman-fronted group in the chart’s 44-year history, breaking their tie with Halestorm. Concurrently, “For I Am Death” ranks at No. 7 on the Rock & Alternative Airplay chart with 3.2 million audience impressions over the past week, the band’s top-performing song ever on the survey. The track also just made its debut at No. 23 on Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, on the strength of 240,000 official U.S. streams in addition to its impressive radio airplay numbers. (Billboard)
