Ozzy Osbourne’s legacy was humorously honored this Halloween when his two-year-old grandson Sidney, dressed in a skeleton costume and red cowboy boots, reenacted the rock legend’s infamous bat-biting stunt in a viral TikTok shared by the child’s mother, Kelly Osbourne. The clip is set to Ozzy’s 1980 hit “Crazy Train,” and features Sidney happily biting the head off a stuffed bat, which Kelly affectionately captioned, “Learned from the greatest, Papa!” The clip recalls the infamous moment during Ozzy’s show in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1982 where the heavy metal icon bit the head off of a real bat, which became a gruesome symbol of Osbourne’s career. Before Ozzy’s tragic passing in July at the age 76, he shared a close bond with Sidney, with Kelly revealing earlier this year that her son’s favorite part of the day was “cartoon time” spent in bed with his grandparents, Ozzy and Sharon.
