Ready Wisconsin provided tips and advice for trick-or-treaters and their families, urging that it’s important to have all children walk in groups, especially ones with an adult if under the age of 12. Children above the age of 12 should still walk in groups or with a trusted adult.

Officials recommend that trick-or-treaters only go to well-lit homes and never accept rides from a stranger. It is important to bring some form of lighting or reflective gear to help drivers better spot trick-or-treaters.
