The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Tonight, clear skies and a light wind will drop temperatures tonight into the 30s to around 40. Those are all the ingredients needed for some patchy frost to develop, espescially for the Fox Valley and off to the north and west.
Offically, a FROST ADVISORY goes into effect at 2am through 8am for most counties in our area. Make sure to cover senstaive plants or bring them inside.
Tomorrow will start with a mix of sun and clouds, with more clouds on the way in for the afternoon. Highs will top the low to mid 60s courtesy of a breezy southwest wind between 10-20mph.
Scattered rain showers will hold off until 7pm and continue through the overnight hours.
After some morning sunshine, Tuesday is looking cloudy, breezy and cooler with highs in the upper 40s and low 40s. Scatered showers are likely for the mid to late morning and into the afternoon.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy and breezy with highs in the mid to upper 40s. A few more showers are possible, but not as high of a chance as the two days prior.
Heads up: lows on Thursday night into Friday morning will fall into the upepr 20s and low 30s. This would be our first freeze of the season, ending the growing season in northeast Wisconsin.
