(WFRV) – Wisconsin health officials are warning the public about possible measles exposures linked to an out-of-state traveler who visited the state earlier this month.
From a press release, the Department of Health Services (DHS), along with St. Croix and Rock County health officials, say anyone who was at the following locations on Monday, August 4 may have been exposed:
- Flying J Travel Center in Roberts between 7:15 a.m. and 10 a.m.
- Pilot Travel Center in Beloit between 11:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

As of August 19, nine measles cases have been confirmed in Wisconsin. Officials stress these new exposures are not connected to previously reported cases.
Residents are urged to check their measles (MMR) vaccine status and monitor for symptoms, which can include fever, cough, runny nose, and rash.
