WEST ALLIS, Wis. (WFRV) – The 2025 Wisconsin State Fair ended on a soggy note as flooding and storms led officials to decide to shut the fair down on its final day.
Following flooding in southern Wisconsin, fair-goers could be seen leaving from the fair Saturday night by wading through floodwaters that were reported to be anywhere from ankle to knee high.

According to a release from the Wisconsin State Fair, organizers decided to close the fair on Sunday, but say those who planned to attend on the fair’s final day could have a chance to exchange their unused tickets to attend the fair in 2026.
To make this tough situation a little brighter, Fairgoers who planned to attend Wisconsin State Fair on Sunday, August 10, 2025 will have the opportunity to exchange their unused Sunday Admission Tickets, Original Cream Puff vouchers, Bargain Book vouchers, WonderFair Wheel vouchers, SpinCity 50-Ticket Pack vouchers, and SpinCity Any Day Wristband vouchers for equivalent 2026 Wisconsin State Fair vouchers.
