KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WFRV) – On Wednesday, St. Paul Elder Services hosted a community brat fry in support of the Alzheimer’s Association’s The Longest Day and Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month.
The event took place at the Kaukauna campus on East 14th Street and provided plenty of burgers, brats, and hot dogs all in support of a great cause.
Proceeds from the brat fry will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association’s The Longest Day, which takes place on the summer solstice.

During The Longest Day, participants engage in activities they love to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s and raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association.
“Our residents love to stay connected to the community, and they love it when the community comes here for various events,” began St. Paul Elder Services President and CEO Sondra Norder. “It’s just really meaningful for our residents to have the community come out and support and join us in camaraderie.”
St. Paul Elder Services will be hosting another brat fry with a car show in August.
