GREEN LAKE, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Green Lake County have released more information regarding a person who was hit and killed by a vehicle Wednesday morning.
The incident happened just before 10 a.m. on the 500 block of Hill Street in Green Lake. The person, identified as 12-year-old John “Emmet” Zodrow, was riding his bicycle with two family friends on the north side of Hill Street when the crash occurred.

According to officials, 85-year-old Jean Woolley of Germantown was attempting to park in the angled parking along the north side of Hill Street when her vehicle went over the curb and struck Zodrow, trapping him underneath.
Zodrow suffered severe injuries and was taken to a hospital in Ripon, where he was later pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation by the Green Lake Police Department, the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office, and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
