The Latest Storm Team 5…
Good morning! We are waking up to band of steady rain up the Northwoods. Plan on this batch of rain shifting south throughout the morning but fizzling out, so holding a chance of a passing shower up until the lunch hour.
Otherwise, plan on skies being mostly cloudy to overcast with temperatures toping out around 70 degrees. Small chance of a quick shower during the afternoon, but the chance looks quite low. Overnight, mostly cloudy with a low in the middle 50s.
Keep tabs on the forecast for tomorrow. There is the potential of a passing morning shower, but we need to monitor a cold front dropping through the area tomorrow afternoon that will likely set off scattered thunderstorms, some of which could be on the strong side. Main window looks to be between 2-7pm, with the main threats being gusty winds and hail up to 1″. Highs will close in on 80 degrees.

The weekend will start sunny and seasonal on Saturday on the backside of the cold front. Also, watch for some wildfire smoke drifting overhead on Saturday. We will get back to the upper 70s on Sunday with mostly sunny skies. The A/C will get its first use on Monday with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s and it will get quite humid as well.
